Many bends on the Alfa Romeo handling track are faithful replicas of famous bends found on racetracks around the world, from the 1st of Lesmo and the Curva Grande of Monza, to the Bus Stop of Spa-Francorchamps and the Hugenholtzbocht of Zandvoort. also testified by the long stretches at high speed which make it a formidable test bench also for engines and braking systems, always maintaining high safety standards testified by the 2018 Dekra certification.

The current Alfa Romeo track at the Balocco Proving Ground has a length of 5750 metres, 19 bends and a maximum lane width of 10 metres, alternating fast stretches with winding and guided sections.
